PhilosophyC'est la vie I've lost a lot of time worrying and caring about useless things, but now I am removing that habit from my life and trying my best to live carefree.
Well, if that description box to your right didn't tell you enough about me, then this page wouldn't either. See the thing is, I can never fill up these pages with things about myself because I just don't know what to say. I mean those little blurbs about me is just about all you need to know. I'm not that much of an interesting person. I'm like every teenage girl you see on the internet, who's still trying to figure herself out and is just wandering amongst other confused people of her kind. This blog has helped in some ways, and has allowed me to see the many transitions and obstacles I've faced in life. I've been running this blog for about 6 years now, which is better than any paper diary I could ever keep up. I'm horrible at journals because I tend to get lazy and give up because I just have so much to update. I keep coming back to this blog because I feel some attachment to it. Actually, it's just much easier to spam with pictures and type than getting hand cramps and smudging the page with my horrible penmanship. Keeping a blog online however, means it is accessible to you internet folks. Yes, I can lock it. But you know what? I won't because anyone who wants to follow me along this journey can feel free to. Though honestly, I'd most likely forget my password to blogger one day and won't be able to access my blog. Anyways, if you read all this you must have a lot of time on your hands or you might just be really curious about me. You can do the job of inferring what kind of person I am based on this paragraph. Thanks for reading!
Once again, my posts are very much delayed, but it's better late than never right? Anyways, I would like to announce something I am extremely happy about, HIGH SCHOOL IS FINALLY OVER. Last Wednesday, I walked across stage, dressed in my long black gown and cap, accepting my diploma. Fourteen years. All those good ol' memories and friends parting, it's rather sad. But to be honest, I'm actually really excited to open up this new chapter in my life and start that uni life. If I were to describe my four years in high school, I wouldn't have that much to say. I feel like my life is beginning now. It will be extremely hard, but I'm willing to accept the challenge (and fail a couple of times). While we're on the topic of graduation, I might as well spam y'all with some lovely pics:
Love, love, love, these three girls. High school was much more bearable with them (:
To celebrate, my dad brought us out to Moxie's !
FOOD
My brother's enchadillas
Tanya's quesadillas
My dad's salmon sandwich
My pasta (forgot which one)
And for desert...
Oh here are some other irrelevant pics, but I felt the need to include:
BARBEQUE
We lit some mediocre fireworks!
Finally found a place to buy some good quality macarons. Rather pricey, but worth it. The guy who makes these delicacies is very quiet and sweet. The shop is called Madeline & Macarons, it's actually a house, but still very cute. Definitely going back there.
The flavours I got were currant (bitter), earl grey (very sweet), and chocolate (mmm).
CANADA DAY
When we lost everybody, Shrankie and I stopped by this nice diner called Zak's and got sweet potato fries & milkshakes.
Real fire works ! Blurry pics though...
SKYZONE
Went to skyzone the day after to burn off all those Canada Day cals on the trampoline with the cousin and turtle. So much fun. Didja know one hour of jumping burns off 1000 cals? Well makes sense because we were dying after just 20 mins of jumping.
Okay enough of the pictures, time to tell you how extremely boring my summer vacay has gotten. I mean after exams I got to hang out, adventures, movie nights, fireworks, etc. But other than that I don't feel productive. I know it's suppose to be a time to relax and all, but it seems as if all my friends are busy with work or travelling! At least they're doing something. So I've decided to work on myself before going to Florida. I've been eating healthier, exercising more, and starting new skin care techniques. I'll post up more details. I'll probably have some results to write about until then. That's all for now!

Welcome, it looks like you've stumbled upon my blog. My name is Brenda and I'm 19 years old. I live in a rather quiet but charming city in Canada. My dream is to one day devour waffles in the castles of Belgium and consume all the sweets in Japan. My favourite band is Two Door Cinema Club. I'm pretty open with any genre of music, as long as it's catchy or has meaning to it. I have a cat named Jupiter and I love him to bits. I've also got a budgie named Snowy, and an aquarium of fishies. My favourite season is Fall because the weather is just right. I like the smell of the ocean and the morning air. I'm a casual blogger. Thanks for looking.
